With 5 bobby pins and 20 minutes, here’s a style that can be achieved for those interviewing opportunities that just do not provide the ample hair prep time:
- Begin with moist, slightly damp and detangled hair
- Apply the goodies your hair loves (moisturizers, butters, oils, etc)
- Section hair in the front, as if you were going to make a left or right side part. Continue parting hair until you make a complete “U” shape. Clip this section so that it is out of the way of the remaining hair. This clipped section will be twisted last
- Begin two strand twisting remaining hair {working from the back of the head} in rows until you make your way up to the top {No neat parting needed. Simply grab and twist}
- Once all twists have been placed, begin grabbing and pinning hair however your hands guide you. This is the fun part! Let your hands do what they will and don’t think about it. Begin pinning wherever you feel the need to secure hair
- Take clipped section and complete 4-5 two strand twists. Pin the twists in the direction you like to ‘frame’ your face
- Throw on some pearls, your power suit with your ‘I already got this job, the interview is just a formality’ attitude and W-E-R-K!
